Can you believe that Easter is almost here?! I feel as if I just finished putting my Christmas decorations away! Easter has always been a favorite holiday of mine because of the celebration of new life. I also love all the family time and traditions that go along with it.
Because of Eden’s age, I didn’t add any candy to her basket- although I may use her as an excuse to buy some for myself.😉 I ended up getting Eden a few things for her to wear, a few things that were more of needs (books and soaps), and a few things for her to play with.
I pride myself in only giving my honest opinion of every product and would never recommend a product that I don’t love myself!
I started with some things that were more “needs” rather than “wants.” The first “needs” were two of my favorite books that I used to read to my past nanny kids- What Do You Do With an Idea and The Wonderful Things You Will Be. I love the illustrations in these books and how the stories just come alive! The story lines are so cute as well. I did mean to get board books but accidentally ordered paper, so we may have to wait till Eden is a little older for those!
Another “need” that I picked out was Tubby Todd’s Spring Bundle. This set includes bubble bath, lotion, and hair & body wash. Not only are these products very gentle on little one’s skin but they smell absolutely incredible.
Next I started compiling a few things for Eden that she can wear from some of my favorite small shops. These White T-Strap Shoes, from our favorite shoe shop, Starry Knight Design are a “must have” for moms with small children. They are perfect for any season, are super durable, SO cute, and are so easy to get on and off. Not to mention that the designs and colors for these shoes are endless!
These light pink shorts from Sawyer and Halle quickly became a favorite of mine as soon as I opened the box. They are unbelievably soft and perfect for spring time- not to mention too adorable to resist!
This Julianna Sailor Bow from Khanh is one of my favorite things in Eden’s basket. Not only because the bow shares my name;) but because I love how adorable it looks in Eden’s hair (we have multiple colors and patterns of this bow)! Bows are very important to us because of the endless amounts of times that Eden has been called a boy! I love dressing her up and making her look girly and these bows are our favorite accessory to do that.
Sweet As April is our favorite small shop for bonnets. She brings new life to fabrics such as sheets, shirts, pants, and curtains that would have been discarded without her saving them. Her designs are gorgeous and she has many different options for both girls and boys!
I have a thing for wooden toys so Bannor Toys has pretty much been a staple shop for us since Eden was born. I just love the look, simplicity and durability of wooden toys! I can just see Eden using this Wooden Heart Wand when she gets bigger and is playing “fairy” or “princesses.”
Our last few items are in the category that I would call “wants.” Or in other words- toys mom thought were cute and wanted to live vicariously through her daughter;).
Hazel Village offers the most precious handmade heirloom animals and dolls. This adorable Annicke Mouse with it’s sweet Easter Bonnet is another one of my favorite things in Eden’s basket. We have about 4 other dolls from Hazel Village and each of them gets just as much love from Eden as the next. I can’t wait to see how she will play with them and have them “interact” as she grows.
I’m planning on using these adorable little mice from Maileg in Eden’s future dollhouse. We have yet to find the perfect dollhouse yet but I’m sure they will get plenty of use before we find one! I especially love the little matchbox they come in!
I found these last couple items in the Target dollar section which will be the perfect addition to Eden’s kitchen set. Target is basically our second home and the dollar section is always the first place I go when I get there. They have quite a few Easter items perfect for filling baskets, that are still avaivable to buy before Easter, if you’re a last minute shopper like myself!
Pictures were taken on Rylee + Cru Floral Gathre Mat.
I also compiled a fun list of things that you can still get in time for Easter for all those last minute shopers! (Amazon for the win!)
Hope Everyone has an amazing Easter and thank you for reading!
Xx Julianna
